This is something that you get better at the more you do it. Someone said it would make a good daily and that's probably true. No one is there before the quest, once you do it, they are there. I know a lot of posters had problems with this quest it can be a tad stressful, but it is doable.Īlso remember that doing this quest gives you access to all of the NPCs of the keep. One occasion I even had to log out and then back, I was able to call my mount and continue-must have been 4-5 min later. I would return with half life (hunter w/no pet) but my life didn't seem to recover fast enough. My first time I tended to get too close and I was hit by the mobs. In fact you can dis-mount as often as you like if you need to heal up. If you have taken any damage you can dis-mount and heal up and call your mount again. Press 1 to get the villager into the mount. You can hover near them and somewhat out of the way of the mobs. When you first begin it is tempting to land as close to them as possible, but you don't have to land to get them. Begin to look for the people running with the fear sign over their head. If you do, you'll get a message telling you to get back. You don't want to get too far out of town boundaries. As you leave the keep, look up to the scurge/ base in the sky and fly under or near that down toward the town. Depending on your class, if you need some buffs, then do so because it is possible to loose some life, take aggro if this is your first time.Ĭ.
